2. Is Chiropractic care safe for my child?

We love seeing children at Rising Wellness Collective. Dr. Rachel has extensive training in caring for the pediatric population. There is new research emerging continually to prove the safety and efficacy of chiropractic care for children. Chiropractic adjustments are both gentle and specific to the child’s developing spine and nervous system, often looking different than care for adult spines. Many of the clients we serve have their babies checked at birth. We enjoy providing the building blocks in the healthiest start to life.

3. If I don’t have back pain, why would I see a Chiropractor?

In any Chiropractor’s office you will see all kinds of ailments walk through the door – colds, pain, headaches, nerve injuries, disc problems, hearing problems, ear infections, hormonal issues, high blood pressure, colic – the list is long. The key is that Chiropractic does not treat the condition itself, it affects the body as a whole, changing the lives of people who are suffering. Chiropractic care is founded on vitalstic principles that promote the liberation & longevity of the body’s intelligent life force. This type of care clears tension patterns, energy blocks and removes stress from the nervous system. Freeing up the communication between the body and the brain and enhancing the coordination of the healing process. This internal freedom allows you to live out your fullest expression of health.

4. What is Webster Technique?

The Webster technique is a specialized training offered through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association.

The Webster technique, provided through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, is a specialized protocol involving sacral analysis and diversified adjustment. Its primary aim is to alleviate sacral subluxation/Si Joint dysfunction, addressing pelvic, muscular, and ligamentous imbalances. This approach supports optimal baby positioning and reduces neurobiomechanical stress.

Sacral subluxation and ligamentous imbalances can contribute to difficult labor (dystocia) due to factors like inadequate uterine function, pelvic contraction, and suboptimal baby positioning. Implementing the Webster technique often enhances comfort for both mother and baby throughout pregnancy and labor. By reducing nervous system stress and restoring bodily balance during the transition to motherhood, it promotes adaptability, healing, and overall ease amidst the physical, hormonal, emotional, and spiritual changes of this remarkable phase. We are privileged to support families during this sacred journey.

5. If I go to a Chiropractor once, will I have to go forever?

Chiropractic care is the largest, drugless healing arts and a natural way to express a vibrant, resilient lifestyle. At Rising Wellness Chiropractic RWC, we want you to utilize this type of health care for as long as it is serving you. Most of our community continues coming back simply because of the incredible changes they’ve experienced in their lives and in the lives of those they love. Your Chiropractor may recommend continual care and it’s likely because they understand the impact; that the adjustment removes interference between the brain and the body. When there is a clear channel of communication within the nervous system, our bodies freely release stress, unwind, integrate experiences, detoxify, adapt and convey our fullest expression of health.

6. Why am I still experiencing pain after my first adjustment?

After your first adjustment, you may experience one of three outcomes: feeling better, no immediate change, or temporary discomfort as your body heals and adjusts. Each adjustment can trigger changes that may take hours or days to fully integrate. It’s essential to understand that true health goes beyond the absence of symptoms; it’s about vitality.

When you visit a chiropractor, you may have long-held stress and tension patterns. Healing isn’t always immediate or linear. Feeling better after one session doesn’t mean the issue is entirely resolved; chiropractic respects the unique healing journey of each individual.

At Rising Wellness Collective (RWC), we emphasize the individuality of healing processes. Chiropractic doesn’t aim to merely treat symptoms; it collaborates with the body’s intelligence to restore the nervous system to normal function and physiology. We prioritize enhancing vitality and well-being.
